More space and more light
A conservatory gives you an extra room for dining, working from home, a playroom or simply sitting in the sun. In Bexhill, where many homes are bungalows or houses with a decent back garden, it’s often the simplest way to add space without a full extension.
Every conservatory we build is made to measure. We come to your home, look at the space and how you want to use it, survey the property and give you a free, no-obligation quote. There’s no pressure, and we’re just along the coast in Hastings if you’d like to talk it through at the showroom.
Conservatory styles
Lean-to
A simple, modern shape with a single sloping roof. It suits bungalows, smaller homes and tight spaces, and can be designed to your exact measurements.
Victorian
Multi-faceted with a more ornate look. It works on both traditional and modern homes, and the faceted front leaves plenty of garden to enjoy.
Edwardian
Square or rectangular, so it makes the most of the floor space and is easy to furnish. Understated and traditional.
Gable
Also square or rectangular, with a tall pointed front that lets in lots of light and gives the room a real sense of height.
Bespoke and combination designs
We can combine styles, for example a P-shaped design that pairs a lean-to with a Victorian section on a larger home. If you want more privacy and a more solid feel, an orangery uses more brickwork and less glass.

Comfortable all year round
Our conservatories use Liniar’s 6-chambered uPVC profile, engineered in the UK. The chambers trap pockets of warm air, and gaskets, thermal dams and built-in drainage keep the weather out and stop water building up. Integrated reinforcement inside the profile keeps the frame rigid and strong without steel.
The frames never need painting and are covered by a 10-year Liniar product guarantee. Doors and opening windows have high-security Yale locks as standard, with a 10-year Yale guarantee.
Choose your finish
Pick from a range of frame colours and finishes, and choose French doors, sliding patio doors or bi-fold doors to open onto the garden. If you’re also replacing windows or doors in the rest of the house, see our double glazing in Bexhill page.

How much does a conservatory cost in Bexhill?
Every conservatory is made to measure, so the price depends on the size, style and finish you choose. We’ll visit, survey and give you a free, no-obligation written quote. Call 01424 239023 to arrange it.
Will I need planning permission?
It depends on the size and position of the conservatory and on your property. We can help you with planning and building work questions, and it’s worth checking with Rother District Council before work starts, especially if your home is listed or in a conservation area.
Which conservatory style suits a bungalow?
A lean-to often suits bungalows and smaller homes because it sits neatly under low eaves and doesn’t take up much garden. We’ll suggest the styles that work for your property on a free home visit.
What’s the difference between a conservatory and an orangery?
An orangery traditionally uses more brickwork and less glass than a conservatory, so it feels more like part of the house and gives more privacy. A conservatory uses more glass for maximum light.
