A local, family-run business

Southern Window Systems has been fitting double glazing in and around Hastings since 1993. We’re a family-run company, and we still work the way we always have: we listen to what you want, give honest advice and look after you long after the installation is finished.

Much of our work comes from repeat customers and recommendations from people we’ve fitted for before. We think that says more than anything we could write here.

How we work

Every job starts with a free home visit and survey. We look at your home, talk through the options and give you a clear, no-obligation quote, with no pressure to sign on the day. If your project needs planning permission or other building work, we’ll help you with those questions too.

Everything we fit is made to measure for your property, from a single replacement window to a whole house of windows and doors, a new conservatory or orangery, fascias, soffits and guttering, or repairs to windows and doors you already have.

The products we choose

We’re members of the Double Glazing Network, which was set up by TruFrame, a fabricator of Liniar uPVC. Through the network we fit Liniar’s 6-chambered uPVC profiles, engineered in the UK and backed by a 10-year Liniar product guarantee. All the uPVC windows we install are A-rated for energy efficiency.

Our composite doors are Solidor timber composite doors, and our aluminium windows and doors come with an insurance-backed guarantee.

Accreditations

• FENSA registered. Your replacement windows are registered with FENSA and you receive a certificate showing they meet Building Regulations. Why FENSA matters.
• Certass registered. Certass is a government-authorised Competent Person Scheme for replacement windows and doors. As a Certass company, we give you deposit protection and an insurance-backed guarantee.
• Yale approved installer. High-security Yale locks come as standard, with a 10-year Yale guarantee. More about security.
• Secured by Design. Our doors meet the police-preferred Secured by Design standard and are PAS 24 tested.

Where we work

Our showroom is at 1 Alexandra Parade, Park Avenue, Hastings. We fit across Hastings, St Leonards-on-Sea, Bexhill-on-Sea, Whatlington and the rest of East Sussex, and in Tunbridge Wells in Kent. See photos of our installations in the gallery.
